# Saved Views

> One-click access to your favorite filter combinations

## Overview

Saved Views let you store your filter, sort, and display configurations for instant recall. Instead of manually setting up the same filters every time, save them once and switch with a single click.

## Creating a Saved View

    Configure the filters, sort order, and display settings you want to save.

  <Step title="Click Save View">
    Click the **Save View** button in the toolbar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Name your view">
    Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Last Week's Losses", "AAPL Trades", "Unreviewed").
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click Save. Your view is now available in the views dropdown.
  </Step>

## What Gets Saved

A Saved View stores:

* **Filters** - All active filter selections
* **Sort order** - Column and direction
* **View type** - List, Board, or Table
* **Display settings** - Card options, grid columns

## Loading a Saved View

1. Click the **Views** dropdown in the toolbar
2. Select your saved view
3. All settings are instantly applied

## Managing Saved Views

### Set as Default

Make a view load automatically when you open Trades:

1. Load the view
2. Click the star icon to set as default

### Rename

1. Click the edit icon next to the view name
2. Enter a new name
3. Save

### Delete

1. Click the trash icon next to the view
2. Confirm deletion

## Example Saved Views

### Review Workflow

| View Name | Filters |

| **To Review** | Status = "To Review", Sort by Date (oldest first) |
| **This Week** | Date = Last 7 days |
| **Needs Work** | Status = "Needs Work" |

### Analysis Views

| View Name | Filters |
| - | - |
| **Winners** | Result = Win |
| **Losers** | Result = Loss |
| **Best Trades** | Rating ≥ 4 stars |

### Symbol-Specific

| View Name | Filters |
| - | - |
| **SPY Trades** | Symbol = SPY |
| **Tech Stocks** | Tags = "Tech" |
| **Futures** | Tags = "Futures" |

## Tips for Effective Views

    Create a view for each step in your review process: "To Review" → "In Progress" → "Done".

    Names like "Last Week Winners" are clearer than "View 1".

    Each view should serve a specific purpose. Don't try to combine too many filters.

    Your default view should be what you need most often - usually "Recent" or "To Review".
